![]() The Changing Face of Size Acceptance Editorial by ISAA Director Allen Steadham I think you'll find this issue to be a real treat! We lined up a lot of talent, exciting news, perspectives and answer some unspoken questions about the Size Acceptance Movement and where it's going. Our cover this issue features a story very near and dear to me, concerning a little girl named Anamarie Martinez-Regino and her family. Last Fall, I was actively involved in the struggle to free this child from her captivity to the child protective services branch of the State of New Mexico government; she was removed from her parents' care because the state thought her parents were disobeying Anamarie's doctor's orders and intentionally making their child dangerously fat. Now, nearly one year later, Without Measure interviews Anamarie's mother and grandmother about what's happening now. Without Measure also takes a look at the Australian Size Acceptance Movement in two articles. The first is an interview with the origanizer of this year's "International No Diet Day (INDD)" celebration in Sydney. The second article is an interview with Jodie Hunter, the founder of a Yahoo! Club called "Don't Tell Me What Size I Must B." Stateside, Without Measure talks to artist/speaker Paul Delacroix as we look at his incredible fat admiring artwork. In addition, this issue features another WLS-related column by the outspoken Sue W. We also have the results from last issue's survey and a look to next issue! I hope you truly enjoy this issue.
