Return Anamarie:

The Virtual Candlelight Vigil

Welcome to this virtual candlelight vigil for the family of Anamarie Martinez-Regino. This webpage will remain online until Anamarie Martinez-Regino is returned to her family.

OCTOBER 21, 2000 SPECIAL UPDATE:

ANAMARIE WILL BE FREED -- BUT WHEN??

According to sources at NBC's Today Show and in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a secret hearing was held on Thursday, October 19, 2000 in which a settlement was reached and it was determined that Anamarie will be returned to her parents. The process could take three weeks or longer, however, and no definite date has been given.

In the meantime, the October 24, 2000 hearing has been cancelled.

We at ISAA believe it is important to continue your efforts, please keep entering your thoughts here at the Virtual Vigil, let the world know that you want the State of New Mexico to RETURN ANAMARIE IMMEDIATELY!

The "non-virtual" vigils will also continue until Anamarie is free.

Perhaps you're unable to make it to one of the vigils, maybe you just learned of this or maybe you are a fairly private person. Whatever your reason for being here, we are happy to have you!

You are among friends.

Please take a moment to remember the Martinez-Regino family, and especially Anamarie, in your thoughts and/or prayers. Then please leave a short (or long) note in the guestbook, even if it's just one small sentence. Make your presence known and felt.

You can make a difference, just by doing this.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Allen Steadham
Director ISAA

NOTE: Please do not choose "Private Message" when you sign the Virtual Vigil. That defeats the purpose of this webpage, since only the ISAA Webmaster can read those entries and these are intended for public viewing as a support mechanism to the Martinez-Regino family. Thanks!
