I'm a new member of the International Size Acceptance Association. I'm also a member of the Southern California Size Acceptance Coalition (SC-SAC). I'm interested in learning more about the Size Acceptance Movement and checking out any materials that could be used to 'educate the educators' about size acceptance for young people. I'm excited about the Kid's Project that Radiance Magazine has begun.

I'm a music (Voice) major studying to be a teacher (Early Childhood Education). I work as an assistant at a Children's Development Center, and I teach beginning piano lessons to children.

I'm a world traveler. I love saying that! Prior to my trip this summer to Europe, I spent a year in at an English boarding school in 1984-85 and visited Greece, Paris, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Hawaii that year. In 1994, I visited Australia. In 1995 I visited Malta and in 1995-96 I lived in Kuwait, teaching music. I've also been to Kauai 5 times - I love it there. I also enjoy going to Las Vegas for weekend getaways.

I'm 29, 5'6", 350+, Blonde, Blue-eyed, Curvy, Smart, Expressive, fun-loving and creative. I started attending local BBW events in 1994. When I returned from my year in Kuwait, I started going to dances immediately, and I met Rachel at the first one. In November of 1997, I modeled for the first time at a Voluptuous Preferences Lingerie Show. It was an exhilarating experience. Several girls including Rachel and myself worked with a professional choreographer and had an absolute blast! This was an event where I really let myself shine and be uninhibited. I've also been to some parties in years past at this place called Puddingstone Hot Tubs Resort put on by a BBW group in Los Angeles. Going to a dance is one thing I quite enjoy, but parties like these, where we BBW's are in bathing suits or lingerie and being openly admired is definitely something special!

I have a lot of dreams about a world where fat will not be a four letter word, where children can grow up without fear and ridicule because of their size, and men and women will understand that beauty is truly beyond size. If I can help promote size acceptance during this trip, it will be the realization of a lifetime goal.
