
Due to the overwhelming outpouring of assistance, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Oklahoma Dept. of Emergency Management, the Oklahoma City Food Bank, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and Adventist Community Services state that there is more than enough food, clothing and supplies for the Oklahoma tornado efforts. The need now is for financial contributions to the agencies to help meet individual family needs.

The above statement, of course, is referring to the organizations which mobilized to assist the survivors of the May 3rd - May 5th disastrous weather in Oklahoma, Kansas, North Texas and Tennessee.
ISAA is proud to lend assistance to this disaster relief effort. The American Red Cross is accepting money donations to help the local economies in Oklahoma and Kansas. The Red Cross also assists with sheltering, feeding and counselling victims.
The Salvation Army is serving food and beverages to emergency personnel and survivors of the tornadoes. In Oklahoma City, The Salvation Army has dispatched disaster relief mobile canteens from throughout Oklahoma as well as from Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Salvation Army personnel are also providing fixed-site feedings at the Emergency Operations Centre in Oklahoma City. Three Salvation Army facilities are sheltering displaced residents, and blankets, bottled water and other necessities also are being distributed. Donation sites have been established throughout the city.
In the Wichita, Kansas, area The Salvation Army has established a shelter in an elementary school and four mobile canteens are serving food and beverages for residents and emergency workers.
The Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network (SATERN) has established an amateur radio link with Oklahoma City and will accept requests via the Internet for information about health and welfare of loved ones in the Oklahoma City area.
